Kepelbagaian Gaya Pembelajaran Murid Kurang Upaya Intelektual dalam Program Pendidikan Inklusif di Sarawak
Abstract
Murid Berkeperluan Pendidikan Khas (MBPK) Kurang Upaya Intelek (KUI) boleh mendapat lebih banyak manfaat dalam konteks sekolah apabila mereka dibenarkan belajar mengikut gaya pembelajaran pilihan mereka. Objektif utama kajian ini adalah untuk memahami keperluan Guru Sekolah Menengah di Sarawak bagi menangani kepelbagaian gaya pembelajaran dalam aspek Program Pendidikan Inklusif (PPI) bagi MBPK KUI. Pendekatan kualitatif dipilih bagi melaksanakan kajian, dan temu bual separa berstruktur telah dilaksanakan terhadap 10 orang guru PPI di sekolah menengah kebangsaan di Sarawak, Malaysia. Analisis tematik digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan guru tidak menyedari keperluan gaya pembelajaran yang berbeza bagi murid mereka, dan kepentingan untuk menampung kepelbagaian gaya pembelajaran untuk memastikan semua murid dapat mengembangkan potensi pembelajaran. Guru juga tidak menggunakan pelbagai kaedah dan strategi pengajaran untuk menampung kepelbagaian gaya pembelajaran murid. Maka, hanya murid tertentu sahaja yang boleh mendapat manfaat daripada pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Kajian menunjukkan kepentingan untuk menampung keperluan gaya pembelajaran yang pelbagai dengan penggunaan berbagai strategi pengajaran.
