Tahap Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Jasmani di Sekolah Menengah di Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur

Abstract

Di Malaysia, semua sekolah mempunyai kurikulum Pendidikan Jasmani yang sama, buku teks yang sama dan jadual serta pembelajaran dan pengajaran (PdP) yang sama. Laporan tahap pelaksanaan PdP Pendidikan Jasmani di sekolah menunjukkan bahawa ia dilaksanakan pada tahap yang berbeza. Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tahap pelaksanaan PdP Pendidikan Jasmani di sekolah menengah di Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (WPKL) berdasarkan lima faktor yang dinilai menggunakan Instrumen Standard Kualiti Pendidikan Malaysia Gelombang 2 (SKPMg2) iaitu kepimpinan, pengurusan organisasi, pengurusan kurikulum, pembelajaran dan pemudahcara (PdPc), dan kemenjadian murid. Soal selidik SKPMg2 telah digunakan kepada 27 dari 89 guru Ketua Panitia Pendidikan Jasmani sekolah menengah di WPKL untuk menilai tahap pelaksanaan PdP Pendidikan Jasmani di sekolah. Input membincangkan skor sekolah yang berbeza mengenai kepimpinan, pengurusan organisasi, pengurusan kurikulum, pembelajaran dan pemudahcara (PdPc), dan kemenjadian murid. Ia menyatakan bahawa sekolah pada tahap pelaksanaan tinggi secara amnya mempunyai markah tertinggi dalam semua bidang ini, diikuti oleh sekolah pada tahap pelaksanaan sederhana dan pada tahap pelaksanaan rendah. Ini menunjukkan bahawa sekolah tahap tinggi melaksanakan PdP Pendidikan Jasmani dengan lebih baik dalam semua aspek berbanding sekolah tahap sederhana dan rendah.
