Efikasi Kendiri Sebagai Mediator dalam Hubungan antara Sokongan Sosial dengan Kesediaan Bekerja Pelajar Tahun Akhir
Abstract
Kesediaan bekerja merupakan faktor mustahak kepada pelajar untuk menjadikan mereka cekap dan berkeyakinan diri. Ini adalah faktor penting yang membolehkan mereka ditempatkan dalam pasaran industri pekerjaan. Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk mengetahui efikasi kendiri sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara sokongan sosial dan kesediaan bekerja. Populasi kajian melibatkan pelajar daripada 6 buah Kolej Vokasional di Kelantan. Sampel kajian adalah pelajar tahun akhir Diploma Kolej Vokasional (DVM) iaitu seramai 248 orang. Sampel yang dipilih adalah berdasarkan persampelan rawak kelompok. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif manakala soal selidik menggunakan pautan Google Form yang dianalisis secara deskriptif, kolerasi dan regresi berganda dengan menggunakan Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Hasil dapatan bagi kesemua pemboleh ubah berada di tahap tinggi. Dapatan kajian juga menunjukkan hubungan yang positif sederhana di antara sokongan sosial dengan kesediaan bekerja. Jenis pengantaraan hasil dari analisa adalah mediator separa (partial mediation) kerana kesan langsung dan tidak langsung signifikan. Hasil kajian ini dapat membantu pihak kolej vokasional dapat mengorak langkah dalam membentuk program yang lebih berkesan yang berkaitan dengan aspek-kesediaan bekerja.
