Peperiksaan Dalam Talian: Kajian Kes Pemeriksa dan Pelajar Jarak Jauh Universiti ‘ODL’ di Malaysia
Abstract
Kualiti peperiksaan di dalam sesebuah institusi pendidikan sering diukur dengan pencapaian yang baik dari segi akademik, kualiti sistem peperiksaan serta ketelusannya. Kaedah peperiksaan di Open University Malaysia telah mengalami transformasi dari peperiksaan secara fizikal di Pusat-pusat Pembelajaran ke Peperiksaan Dalam Talian (PDT) atau Take Home Examination. PDT telah dilaksanakan selepas dunia dilanda wabak Covid-19 dengan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan bermula semester Januari 2020 sehingga sekarang. Oleh kerana PDT merupakan inisiatif baharu dalam menilai pelajar jarak jauh secara sambilan, satu kajian kes dibuat bagi melihat persepsi pemeriksa dalam talian (E-Grader) dan pelajar yang menduduki PDT sepenuhnya dari sudut cabaran ketelusan, pengurusan dan kelestarian PDT pada masa akan datang. Reka bentuk kajian kes ini adalah secara kualitatif dan data diperoleh melalui temu duga berstruktur menggunakan platform Zoom. Analisa dapatan dikelaskan mengikut tema. Dapatan menunjukkan persoalan berkaitan ketelusan diketengahkan dengan keperluan system Proctoring, fleksibel dalam menduduki peperiksaan serta masa memeriksa kertas oleh E-Grader. Dapatan juga menunjukkan terdapatnya jawapan pelajar yang lebih berkualiti berbanding dengan peperiksaan bersemuka kerana pelajar menggunakan kemahiran berfikir aras tinggi dan boleh membuat sintesis jawapan peperiksaan kerana pelajar faham apa yang dipelajari.
