Tingkah Laku Tidur Di Kalangan Atlet Sekolah di Daerah Miri, Sarawak

Abstract

Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk melihat perkaitan antara tingkah laku tidur atlet berdasarkan jantina atlet bandar dan luar bandar. Seramai 72 atlet dipilih yang terdiri daripada 37 atlet lelaki dan 35 atlet perempuan. Kesemua sampel terdiri daripada atlet Daerah Miri yang mewakili sekolah hingga peringkat Kebangsaan. Dalam kajian ini, penyelidik menggunakan Borang Athlete Sleep Behaviour Questionaire (ASBQ) yang diformatkan dalam bentuk google form. ASBQ mempunyai 18 item yang terbahagi kepada 3 subskala iaitu, faktor rutin atau persekitaran 6 item, faktor tingkah laku 7 item dan faktor yang berkaitan dengan sukan 5 item. Semua maklumat yang diperoleh akan disusun dan dianalisis sesuai dengan prosedur yang ditetapkan. Data diproses menggunakan perisian program Statistical Packages For the Social Science (SPSS) untuk menghasilkan keputusan analisis yang mendalam. Hasil dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkah laku tidur atlet berdasarkan jantina atlet bandar dan luar bandar yang mewakili sekolah hingga peringkat kebangsaan. Oleh yang demikian dapat dirumuskan bahawa jantina, kawasan dan tahap penglibatan atlet tidak mempengaruhi tingkah laku tidur atlet.
